Venice flourished as a result of the Crusaders because, people flew into Venice and which increased its power as a city-state . Crusaders depended on those cities for supplies. The Crusades also led to an increase in trade between the Middle East and Europe and contributed to Venice’s dominance of the Mediterranean during the Crusades.
