A person 5 ft tall casts a shadow 13ft long. At the same time a nearby tree casts a shadow 37 ft long. Find the height of the tree

(5)/(13) = (x)/(37)
try using that equation
explanation - the height of the tree/person goes on top. the length of the shadow goes on the bottom. these two "triangles" are likely congruent, so they should be to scale (the sun strikes every object at the same time).
