This was a 1917 Act passed after entering ww1 that made it a crime to pass information that would interfere with the success of the US Armed forces

What's the term for this?

The "Espionage" act passed on June 15, 1917, after the united states entry into world war one.

Fun fact. It was originally found in title 50 of the U.S. code (war) but is now found under title 18 (crime).

I hope this helps.
