I believe the answer is: self-fulfilling belief.

self-fulfilling belief refers to the prediction that cause as to alter our behaviour in a way that eventually cause itself to be true. This tend to becaused by a delusion that make a person think a certain event going to happen to them. Due to this delusion they would not do any actions that might prevent the event, which eventually caused itself to be realized.
