How does the sugar concentration affect the size of a cell?

If sugar concentration within a cell is high/rises, then water will enter the cell increasing the volume of cytoplasm within the cell and hence the volume/size of the cell itself;

Alternatively, if the sugar concentration within a cell is low/falls, then water leave the cell decreasing the volume of cytoplasm withing the cell and thus the cell will get smaller.
