Trade was very important in Greece. The Greeks build cites in other parts of the world to get good trades. They also build boats so then they can travel in the Mediterranean sea. This is the sea that touches Europe, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Goods could be made in one part of the Mediterranean and sold in another. The Greeks traded oilves and pottery and etc..
