Explain how to find the greatest common factor of three numbers.

Answer: Greatest common factor (GCF) of three integer numbers can be calculated by determining the prime factors of the numbers and then finding the common factors and multiply those raised to the lowest exponent.

If there aren't common factors then the GCF = 1.

Hope this helps!

Find the greatest common factor of any two of them. Then find the greatest common factor of that and the third one.

--- or ---

Factor each number to primes and make note of the factors that are present in all three numbers. The GCF is the product of the common prime factors.
