The anemia is a condition, in which the count of healthy RBCs (red blood cells) carrying hemoglobin is decreased to a significant level. The patient who are suffering from this condition are called anemic.

The existence of the anemia can be determined by the decrease in the hemoglobin count. The CBC is referred to a complete blood count. The CBC of anemic patient show a count less than normal for hemoglobin, RBC, hematocrit, and mean corpuscular volume (MCV).
