The slope is always rise over run, written like this:


(rise)/(run)

This means that how much you go up will be the top number, and to the side is going to be the bottom.

Now, here you have the point of origin, which makes the slope formula easy;


(6)/(2)

Of course, you want to reduce the fraction to its simplest form, which will be:


(3)/(1)
