To answer the positive equations all you would do is add them like regular number like #1. Is 4+8 which would obviously equal 12 because you’re just adding them, but when it’s something like #2. What the easiest thing you would do is look at a number line and start at -7, then you would add +8 so you would go towards the positive side so -7+8=1
