Volume of a cone: V = 3.14r^2
(h)/(3)

V = 3.14*2.5^2*6/3

= 3.14*6.25*2

= 39.25

The volume of the ice cream must be 39.25 in^3

Answer:
39.25\ in^3

Explanation:

We know that the volume of cone is given by :-

V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h, where r is radius and h is height of the cone.

Given : Diameter of cone = 5 inches

Radius =
(5)/(2)=2.5\ inches

Height = 6 inches

Then, the volume of the cone will be :-

V=(1)/(3)(3.14)(2.5)^2(6)=39.25\ in^3

Hence, the volume of the ice cream that completely fills the cone =
39.25\ in^3
