The correct answer is an organism (or life form).

Organisms are individuals that carry out thir own life activities. There are different types of organisms but all of them share some common characteristics: reproduction, growth and development, maintenance, and response to stimuli. Organisms can be divided in groups multicellular and unicelullar or groups like prokaryote and eukaryote.

An organism is a living thing that carries out its own life activities.

All living things carry out all life processes. For example - plants, animals, microorganisms (such as bacteria), and human beings. All of these life forms carry out life processes such as growth, metabolism, and reproduction.
