How are glacial troughs formed? (need help as soon as possible)

Trough valleys or glacial troughs, are formed by the method of glaciation. They are characteristic of mountain glaciation in specific. Glaciated valleys are formed when a icy mass voyages over and down a incline, carving the valley by the activity of scouring.
