What is 227,900,000 in scientific notation???

2.279×10^8 Is the answer because after the first number always you count how many spots there are total, since there is nine and you don't count the first one you would count the second first. So you would have 8 spaces. now you take the first 4 numbers and put that down. Since this splits in this case you would actually put a (.) to symbolize the break away. Always put a (.) after the first number to split it, then put the remaining numbers for the 4 numbers. "279" hope this helped!
