We see WALL-E and the other robots seemingly expressing a wide range of himan emotions. What is it that makes humans different from robots, or computers? Do you see those main differences eroding as technology develops?

Humans are able to feel while robots can't. Technology is highly intelligent while humans may also be intelligent we rely more on robots than our own brains because since we've been exposed to technology we think that the information on the web is correct and so it makes us less intelligent than we actually are. Yes there are some scientists who are developing robots who can feel like human beings.

As robots become smart enough to detect our feelings and respond appropriately, they could have something like emotions of their own. But that won’t necessarily make them more like humans.
