We solve inequalities in a similar manner to that which we solve equations, just with a greater than or less than sign in the middle instead of an equals sign. Just like we do for equations, our goal for solving inequalities is to get the variable alone on one side. To do this, we must use the reverse order of operations to cancel out the coefficient on the variable.

3m > 24

The opposite of multiplication is division, so we must divide both sides of the equation by 3 to find our answer.

m > 8

This means that your answer is the first option, m > 8.

Hope this helps!
