Answer is Evaporation.

Minerals are formed in nature by a variety of processes. In shallow lake minerals are formed by the process evaporation. During dry conditions, temperature is high. High temperature causes water to evaporate from shallow lake surface by evaporation, leaving behind the minerals in the lake.
