Proteins have a variety of functions within a living cell. describe at least three of the possible functions of proteins, and explain how proteins can be so diverse when there are only a limited number of different amino acids.

Some functions of proteins include: Repairing cells, transports and store nutrients, enzymes are used for catalyzing reactions. Proteins can be so diverse because, even though there are few amino acids, there are many different combinations in which they can be organized, creating many different proteins.
