This research would lead to increase in the corn crop production. In case of higher production, the sellers would be willing to sell more corns. This would shift the supply curve to the right.

The supply curve is the graphical representation of the amount of the good available to supply in the market. If the production of the corn crop is enhanced, the supplier would be more willing to supply, as a result supply curve would shift to right.
