A substitute teacher wants to know how students in the class did on their last test. the teacher asks the 6 students sitting in the front row to state their latest test score. he concludes from their report that the class did extremely well.

c. can you identify any problems with choosing the sample in the way that the teacher did?

First of all, some students in the front could probably see the lesson and better listen to the teacher. With that being said, some students sitting it the back are liable to ignore the teacher. Secondly, the front is NOT the whole class. Each student learns in a different way.
