C and D. It is thought to be the first novel written and considering it is chinese, it can't be A. Leaving only B and C left, the story is about love but more about a man with sexual desires and his feelings and turmoil in life and the decisions that he made throughout the book make me lean more towards C, being entertaining, than B, being a romantic love novel.
