a person in coma can live til they grey on life support to be honest. because when a person is in coma they are practically dead. the only thing alive is the brain. they cant move or talk or anything. so the life support is there for them to stay alive but after a certain period of time you will have to switch it off. some are lucky and live but some are practically dead.
