Observations made of bacteria culture once a week over a month period is an example of time sampling. Time sampling is a method of collecting data or information where the tested sample is observed over a specific time duration for certain length of experiment period to observe whether a change took place or not in the sample. Other example would be to observe when and for how long a tiger is seen hunting its prey.
