'To wound or to pierce with a pointed weapon' is known as stabbing. Stabbing is the process when a pointed weapon, such as knife, or needle is forcefully pushed into the body of an individual. Stabbing can be purposeful or accidental. Stabbing that damages the vital internal organs can lead to the death of the person, and in some cases may even cause excessive bleeding. When stabbed it is important to not dislodge the stabbed weapon to avoid blood loss.
