The systemic circuit is the part of the circulatory system which includes the blood vessels that transports the blood away from the heart and towards the organs and tissues of the body. The pulmonary circuit ,on the other hand, transports the blood (oxygenated and deoxygenated) only between the heart and the lungs. Therefore, the systemic circuit consists of the vessels transporting oxygen to the tissues.
