Define the term reserved powers and give an example of a reserved power of government

The united states that many other democratic republics in which the power is being shared between the central government and states as you would call it the reserved power that was referred to those powers and are not explicitly given to the central government therefore reserved for the states one example would be a state having the power to alter legislative for the one you needed help on earlier

A reserved power is a political power that a constitution reserves exclusively to the jurisdiction of a particular political authority. The Tenth Amendment reserves political powers, not specifically granted to the federal government, to the states. The creation of an education system or state identification systems are examples of reserved powers.
