What is the function of stomata?

Answer: Stomata allow gases to enter and exit the leaf.

stomata: the small openings on leaves or stems that are used for gas exchange

Stomata helps in the exchange of gases between the plant and the atmosphere.( gaseous exchange)
It also helps in transpiration.(the loss of water in the form of a pour from the aerial parts of the plant is known as transpiration.)
