Ok sum everything she buys to get the total
24.99 + 14.99 + 7.49 = 47.47
Now she gave 50$ bill but she only bought the total for 47.47$ that means she will get some money back because she overpaid.
50 - 47.47 = 2.53$

Someone please explain this to me
