2^40 since you are trying to find the product you would just add the exponents together

To multiply values with exponents we can sue the following rule (assuming both numbers are in the same base):


a^(n) * a^(m)=a^((n+m))

In this case we have:


2^(10) * 2^(30)=2^((10+30))=2^(40)
