Our society is heavily dependent on oil production, as many functions in our daily lives utilize oil like cooking, driving, etc. Oil-based technology might be the main study of scientists in the coming years as population grows. However, society as a whole may have concerns to the effects of oil-based technologies to climate change because of the pollution that it can cause for the air.
