We have to find converse of the given statement "If his shoes are clean, then he did not walk in the mud."

Before that we need to know what is called converse.

Say if given statement is " If P then Q" then it's converse is given by "If Q then P".

So basically we just need to sqitch the two parts of statements as given in definition.

Hence final answer will be "If he did not walk in the mud then his shoes are clean."
