ABC is an isoceles triangle as both the base angles equals to 45°.
Therefore, according to Pythagoras Theorem
24^2= 2X^2
X= √288
X= 16.97 ft
Area= 1/2*base*height
= 1/2*16.97*16.97
= 144ft^2 (approx)
