Palate, Buccal Mucosa, and Tongue.

The minor salivary glands are found on the palate, buccal mucosa, and tongue. Salivary glands are exocrine glands which release saliva. 0.5 and 1.5 liters of saliva is generated every day in human beings. Within the submucosa, there are 800 to 1000 minor salivary glands present throughout the oral cavity.
