Consider this question: "do you think fines for running stop signs should be doubled?" do you think the response would be different if the question "have you ever run a stop sign?" preceded the question about fines?

Yes, i think it should be doubled.

Currently, the fine for running stop sign is between $75 - $400 depending on how fast you go. But a lot of drivers actually run over the stop signs without ever being noticed/getting caught. They are willing to risk to do the violation because they feel that they can get away with little amount of money when they get caught.
