x^3 − 2y^2 − 3x^3 + z^4

Plug in 3 for x, 5 for y, and -3 for z (given)

(3)^3 -2(5^2) - 3(3^3) + (-3)^4

Simplify

(3)^3 = 3 x 3 x 3 = 27

-2(5^2) = -2 x 25 = -50

-3(3^3) = -3 x 27 = -81

(-3)^4 = -3 x -3 x -3 x -3 = 9 x 9 = 81

Combine all the terms

27 + (-50) - 81 + 81

27 - 50 - 81 + 81

-23 + 0

-23

-23, or (C) is your answer

hope this helps
