Hi!

To find the slope, use this formula...

(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Put in the values and solve!

(-7 - 3)/(-7 - (-2))

(-10)/(-5)

Simplify

2

The slope is 2

Hope this helps! :)

To find the slope between two points, we need to find the rise over run. We can do this by using the slope formula. Between two points, (x, y) and (x₁, y₁), the slope is
(y - y_(1))/(x - x_(1)). Now we can substitute the values of our points and solve. The formula becomes:

(3 - (-7))/(-2 - (-7))

Simplifying, we get:

(10)/(5)

2. That means that the slope between these two points is 2.
