Slope represents rise over run. So, rise means to go up, you go up 1(vertical), run means to go across (horizontal). Since both are positive you start at the bottom left corner (0,0) go up 1 then over 2 to the right. You continue this after each point. Hope this helps sorry if it is unclear.
