Yes, most definitely. Unfortunately the processing power of a 1070 Ti far outstrips that is a 2400g and in intensive tasks the 2400g will be holding back the 1070 Ti. In day to day tasks it will be fine, but personally I would recommend an upgrade to something like a 2600 (or a 2600x if your board is capable of overclocking.)
