First, the acceleration of gravity on Earth is denoted by g and it is the acceleration passed on to the objects due to Earth’s distribution of mass. On Earth, g’s value is 9.8 m/s2. Therefore, it is to say that the acceleration of gravity on earth’s surface on sea level would be 9.8 m/s2.
