We have to evaluate the expression for the given value of the variable. i got -16 but it’s supposed to be 48. help??

4(3[-2] -6) = -48.

1 + [-2] = -1.

when you have negatives on both the top and bottom, they cancel out and leave you with 48/1, which simplified to 48.

We have to evaluate the expression for the given value of the variable. i got -16 but it’s supposed to be 48. help??
