1 gallon = 4 quarts

1 quart = 2 pints

25 pints * (1 quart)/(2 pints) * (1 gallon)/(4 quarts) = 3.125 gallons

25 pints equals 3.125 gallons, so a gallon pitcher is not large enough.

Answer:

A gallon cannot hold 25 pints of juice.

Explanation:

One gallon is equivalent to four quarts.

One quart is equivalent to two pints.

So, four quarts is equivalent to =
4*2=8 pints

This means one gallon is equivalent to 8 pints.

Hence, for 25 pints you will need =
(25)/(8)= 3.125 gallons

Therefore, a gallon cannot hold 25 pints of juice. You need more than 3.125 gallons to hold the pints of juice.
