Ok, so I have to write an expository essay for my AP Bio summer assignment on the novel Jurassic Park, the teacher gave me a list of questions to help structure the essay, I'm just stuck on one of them which asks 'What are the major scientific themes addressed in the book?'

I'm really confused on what she meant by scientific themes, I don't know what themes she's talking about, it's really stressing me out and this is the only question i'm having trouble with. Please help?

Scientific themes are "sciency (is that a word?)" kinds of themes, I suppose. A normal theme is like Love, Hate, War, but a Scientific Theme is kind of like Dystopia, Time Travel, e.t.c.
