the formula for circumference is

C=
\pid

where d is the diameter

we are using 3.14 for pi and 300ft for the diameter so we can plug these values in

C = (3.14)(300)

C = 942 ft

your answer should be

942ft

The best approximation for the circumference is
\boxed{ \bf 942~ft.}

______________________________________________________

\bf Explanation

c = 2
\pir

r = 300 ÷ 2

r = 150

c = 2 × 3.14 × 150

c = 942
