One-third of the value of x can be written as x over 3 (a fraction).

3 more than that is x/3 + 3. That’s because the word more means you need to add.

Therefore your final answer is x/3 + 3.

Make sure to write x/3 as a fraction with x on the top and 3 on the bottom!
