The most basic building block of all organisms are cells.

Cells are most of the time microscopic units composed by organelles and other things. The cells have many functions in life, such as the one of an egg, or building tissues for example.

There are two cell divisions and two basic types of cells.

→The two main divisions are eukaryotic (have a nucleus, that encloses DNA) and prokaryotic (DNA floats through the cytoplasm, since there is no nucleus).

→The two basic cell types are the animal and plant cells that difere in shape, functions, organelles to give some examples. Animal cells are found in all animals including humans, and plant cells are found in plants and trees.

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!
