when Jolene shopped for a cofee maker, she found a range of $ 23 in the price for the same item at different stores. If the least expensive price she found was $49.99 , what was the most expensive?

Hello!

The range is the difference between the largest and smallest number in the data set. If the least expensive price was 49.99, it means the largest number minus this cost is 23. Therefore, to find our cost, we just add 23.

49.99+23=72.99

Therefore, the most expensive cost was $72.99
