Hello!

To find this, we divide our 50 by 30.

50/30=1.6666666

We need to subtract one to find how much of the 30 increased.

.6666666

We can round this to a percent

66.67%

I hope this helps!

If you want to find by how much percent something increased, take the final value and divide it by the initial value. When you divide 50 by 30, you get 5/3, which can be written as 1.666(repeating). Then, you subtract 1 from the answer and multiply by 100. So, the population of APES students grew by 66.66%
