Geografical location and reproducing abilities.

If two organisms inhabit the same place (have the same habitat), together with some other important characteristics, they can be classified as the same species. The ability to reproduce is also an important characteristic, since members of the same species must be able to reproduce.

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!

Every species is assigned a standard two-part name of genus and species. ... Organisms are grouped into species partly according to their morphological, or external, similarities, but more important in classifying sexually reproducing organisms is the organisms' ability to successfully interbreed.
