The circumference of the circle is 28.26

What is the circumference of the circle?

Perimeter of a square = 4 × length

= 4L

So,

36 = 4L

Divide both sides by 4

36/4 = L

L = 9

The circumference of a circle = 2 × π × r

Diameter of the circle = 9

Radius, r = diameter / 2

= 9/2

= 4.5

Therefore,

the circumference of a circle = 2 × π × r

= 2 × 3.14 × 4.5

= 28.26

The perimeter of a square is the length of a one side multiplied by 4.

The diameter of the circle would be the length of the side of the square.

To find the length of the side/ diameter divide the total perimeter by 4:

Diameter = 36 / 4 = 8

To find the circumference of the circle, multiply the diameter by PI:

8 x PI = 25.13 units. Round the answer as needed.
