Romeo asks his servant and trusted friend Balthasar to leave the tomb after they reached there. He asks Balthasar to give the letter he had given to him to Montagues the next morning. He even tells his objective of coming to the tomb as he wanted to take back the ring which he had given to Juliet. Balthasar at this point mistrusts his master and waits to watch what would happen the next moment. He witnesses the fight between Paris and Romeo and how Romeo succeeded in winning the fight by killing Paris.
